Architecture, minimalism and nature inspire us. Fresh air clears your mind and fresh and minimalist spaces will achieve the same effect. … You know that feeling of pure satisfaction and relief when you finally clean out that cluttered junk drawer? Imagine experiencing that same feeling throughout your entire home.
There’s a serious connection between a clear mind and clear space. Simplifying your space with a minimalist approach can lead to a clear mind and increased productivity.
Here are a few quick tips to get started:
1) Get rid of items you haven't used in the last year (or if you can't part with items, box them up and store them and if you don't use them in 6 months or a year then donate or dispose of them)
2) Organize what's left into clear categories (Keep, Donate or Dispose/trash)
3) Keep only the essentials within easy reach (i.e. on counters, on shelves, etc)
What inspires you, gives you a clear mind or makes you more productive?
