If you have fall cleaning on the brain (and I highly recommend you do!), or just had a yard sale and need ideas on where to donate left over items, to assist, here are a few local places we trust will make the most of your generous donations!
And, if you are preparing for a yard sale or just fall cleaning, here are some tips from some of the experts:
- Get your priorities right - determine which
room(s) you should tackle first and focus on one room/area. - Start with an easy area - such as a closet and
prioritize which clothing types to focus on first. - Organize things well - get organizers or bins to
maximize storage space - Let go of what you no longer need - make a stay,
maybe and go pile. Box up the maybe pile and if you don't use it for 6
months, move it to the go pile! - Commit to your decision - don't hesitate, if it's
in the "go pile" - send it!
As the experts say, clearing clutter is more than just getting a clean home, it's also about clearing your mind, lifting your energy and bosting your level of productivity.
